Full-Time Technical Lead DevOps

Role SummaryWe are looking for a talented Technical Lead, DevOps Engineer to join our team! This role is responsible for building and delivering the next generation of Digital Forensics products. You will lead the team responsible for delivering our SaaS platform in a FedRAMP environment. The role involves building out the environment, systems, and high-performance operations of the products within that environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Understand FedRAMP requirements and build/maintain compliant environment.
• Develop effective partner relationships.
• Receive product handoffs from product teams, deploy, and operate in the FedRAMP environment.
• Ensure SaaS performance (DORA metrics & uptime).
• Improve team efficiency through process, tools, and architecture.
• Manage the team's roadmap with stakeholders.
• Analyze requirements, break down tasks, and estimate effort.
• Build strong teams and relationships, and communicate effectively.
• Collaborate with product & support engineers to resolve issues.
• Build DevOps automation.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and fix defects.
• Communicate with team & organization (technical and executive).
• Provide mentorship.
• Travel (5%).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating a SaaS in a leading technical role.
• Influential leadership of colleagues.
• Experience with compliance initiatives (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC2, NIST 800-53).
• 4+ years of experience writing software in a high-level language (Python, C#, etc.).
• 4+ years of experience managing Linux systems and containers.
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation/CDK, Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts).
• Experience with Cloud Providers (AWS).
• Proficiency in Linux shell scripting.
• Proficiency in networking, protocols, and security.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Experience writing and managing POA&Ms.

Nice To Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with alerting, observability, and telemetry (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Experience in high security environments (GovCloud).
• Experience with relational databases.
• Experience in project documentation.
• Experience with Argo.
