As a Technical Product Delivery Manager at Nearmap, you will take ownership of product delivery roadmaps, manage competing priorities, and act as the Product Owner for your development teams. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Technology, and Operations to deliver seamless solutions for our customers and partners.
Own the Roadmap- Prioritise and manage product backlogs, aligning with Solution Product Managers (SPMs) and stakeholders.
- Act as custodian of your platform area, delivering practical, consistent, and forward-thinking solutions.
- Translate market requirements into actionable product plans with designers and technical leaders.
- Ensure requirements are clear, scalable, and data-driven to guide confident delivery.
- Anticipate future needs and ensure today’s solutions set us up for long-term growth.
- Own on-time, on-scope delivery outcomes, balancing agile practices with structured execution.
- Act as Product Owner for your dev team — writing clear stories, managing dependencies, and coordinating releases.
- Report progress and outcomes clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive process, system, and infrastructure improvements to support scale and evolving customer needs.
- Champion high standards of quality, data integrity, and governance.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Product Delivery Manager, Technical Product Manager, or technical Program/Project Manager in complex technical environments.
- Proven experience delivering digital and SaaS products in collaboration with Engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of APIs, CI/CD pipelines, cloud DevOps, and software development processes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influence skills.
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile frameworks and project management tools like JIRA, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project.
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
