Full-Time Technical Program Manager

Waymo Driver powers Waymo One (autonomous ride-hailing service) and can be applied to various vehicle platforms and product use cases.

Waymo's Technical Program Managers are responsible for roadmap execution. They provide cross-functional planning, clarity, and proactive risk management, driving conversations and outcomes in the face of complex technical and operational challenges. The team partners with all Waymo functions to structure, own, and drive work toward real-world deployments across platforms and geographies.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure release tasks are followed and on track
• Communicate and resolve potential issues
• Continuously improve processes for more efficient releases

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience managing technical projects
• Experience within the Software Development Lifecycle
• Understanding of system architecture, Quality Assurance, and validating software quality
• Ability to interpret and analyze source code

Preferred Skills:

• Technical Program Management experience
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and workflows
• Computer programming expertise
• Release Engineering ability
