Full-Time Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled, influential, and experienced Technical Project Manager who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The Technical Project Manager will work closely with customer stakeholders, senior executives, management, and internal cross-functional teams to coordinate project management activities to ensure the integrity and success of projects by achieving steady measurable progress toward defined goals; efficiently executing project management practices; regular reporting; and monitoring and measurement of success metrics.

1. Develop and maintain the project plan to outline specific project tasks, milestone dates, and deliverables
2. Define and manage project scope, budget, schedules, and timelines
3. Prepare, distribute, and present progress reports
4. Organize and lead project status and working meetings
5. Manage changes, risks, actions, issues, and decisions and correct deviations from plan
6. Hold teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work
7. Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
8. Support Product Owners in managing customer expectations for project deliverables
9. Manage stakeholder communications and help to implement an effective system of project governance
10. Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives
11. Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
12. Identify resource needs for the project and source these resources
13. Deliver the project accurately and in accordance with contract terms
14. Maintain project documentation including documented project approvals, meeting minutes, etc.
15. Plan for and monitor project expenditures to ensure they are in line with the budget
16. Provide regular updates on financial status and progress including preparation of financial reports which detail spending, forecasting, and overall budget health
17. Know and use all key customer resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of customer concerns
18. Maintain strict confidentiality
19. Be mobile and travel to client locations as needed

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent business experience
• Experience managing enterprise projects
• High level of agility and ability manage change
• Ability to work proactively and constructively in a fast-paced, collaborative, matrixed team environment
• Communication skills; high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
• Presentation skills; high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences

Preferred qualifications

• PMP or equivalent certification
• Experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
• Knowledge of other Agile approaches, like Kanban, and familiarity with traditional project management approaches
• PMP or similar certification
