Part-Time Telehealth Doctor

Alternaleaf is Montu's leading clinic focused on a holistic approach to alternative medicine. We are seeking dedicated Doctors to join our team on a permanent basis in either a part-time or full-time capacity. We are open to all Medical Practitioners, not only GPs.

As an Alternaleaf prescriber, you will be conducting Telehealth consultations via Amazon Connect and prescribing alternative treatment plans to patients for a spectrum of physical and mental conditions.

What you can expect:

• Permanent opportunities available: Choose the days that suit you best, the preference is for 5 days a week but we are open to part-time with a minimum of 2 days. Your days will be fixed ongoing.
• Work From Home: Work from the comfort of your home anywhere in Australia (excluding South Australia).
• Comprehensive Training: We provide full training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed, as well as full assistance with gaining your Authorised Prescriber Licence for all categories. We cover the costs of this (~$2000) and our SAGED accredited courses count towards your CPD hours.
• Dedicated Support: Clinical support and education available throughout clinical hours by our Doctor Support Team.
• Competitive Salary: This is a salaried position.
• Required Qualifications:
• Medical Degree
• Full working rights - we do not offer sponsorship
• AHPRA registration with nil restrictions or conditions
• Experience working within the Australian healthcare system
• Authorised Prescriber (AP) for medicinal cannabis highly regarded but not mandatory
• Medical Indemnity Insurance - covering telehealth & prescribing for schedule 8 medications including medical cannabis
• Able to obtain a Medicare Provider Number
• Must be based in Australia (we do not offer the ability to work from overseas)
• Excellent communication, strong work ethic and attention to detail
