Part-Time Telehealth Doctor (Permanent)

Alternaleaf is Montu’s leading clinic focused on a holistic approach to alternative medicine. We are seeking dedicated Doctors to join our team on a permanent basis in either a part-time or full-time capacity. We are open to all Medical Practitioners.

As an Alternaleaf prescriber, you will be conducting Telehealth consultations via Amazon Connect and prescribing alternative treatment plans to patients for a spectrum of physical and mental conditions. You’ll influence patient outcomes and clinical satisfaction through best-in-class systems, protocols, and ongoing support.

Permanent opportunities available: Full time (38 hours) and Part time (minimum 22.8 hours per week) with fixed ongoing days.

Available hours of work: 10am - 10pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 5pm on the weekend.

Work From Home: Work from the comfort of your home anywhere in Australia (excluding SA & WA).

Comprehensive Training: Full training provided to equip you with knowledge and skills. Access to our accredited SAGED courses which count towards CPD hours.

Authorised Prescriber Licence: Full assistance with gaining your AP Licence for all categories. We cover the costs (~$2000) and our SAGE accredited courses count towards CPD hours.

Dedicated Support: Clinical support and education throughout clinical hours by our Doctor Support Team.

Skills & Experience:

• Medical Degree (PGY4+ experience)
• Full working rights - no sponsorship offered
• AHPRA registration with no restrictions
• Experience working within the Australian healthcare system
• Authorised Prescriber (AP) for medicinal cannabis (highly regarded)
• Medical Indemnity Insurance - covering telehealth & prescribing
• Tech-savvy with ability to use multiple systems
• Able to obtain a Medicare Provider Number
• Must be based in Australia
• Excellent communication, strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
