At Alternaleaf, our doctors combine evidence-based practice with innovation to support patients across Australia. We're looking for experienced Medical Practitioners to join our telehealth team on a contractor basis.
The role:
- Deliver high-quality telehealth consultations.
- Manage clinical assessments, prescriptions (S4 & S8), and follow-up consults.
- Embrace digital tools to optimise patient outcomes.
- Work closely with nurses and doctor support teams.
- Maintain complete documentation and compliance.
- Commit to providing weekly hours.
You bring:
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration (Minimum PGY4).
- Experience in emergency, urgent care, high-volume GP, or telehealth settings.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity with privacy laws, RTPM, S8 regulation, and medico-legal obligations.
- Strong clinical judgement.
- Strong documentation/admin skills.
- Comfortable working with multiple digital platforms.
- Punctual, reliable and responsive.
Successful applicants will need to be available for initial training. You will have a designated Doctor Support Team Leader.
