About the Scholarship
Position Description: The Theology Teacher Intern will participate in an online sponsored Theology Masters Program that will equip and educate an individual in Bible Hermeneutics, Apologetics, Christian Ethics and Education, Old Testament and New Testament Surveys, and Eschatology. Upon completion, this individual will be equipped to participate in local and national volunteerisms, have an opportunity to teach theology on a local, national, and international level, and be in a position of mentoring and guiding individuals towards carrying out a life of faith.
Responsibilities
Experience:
• No experience is necessary although background in theological studies or volunteerisms are preferred
Expectations:
• Have the ability to use a personal device to attend the courses
• Stay for the duration of assigned courses
• Take diligent notes and study
• Participate in discussions and assignments
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:
• A personal walk with Jesus
• Excellent written, listening, and communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Manages time and prioritizes duties effectively
• Ability to be consistent
• Reliable wifi connection
Post-Program Development
Community Development
• Participate as a teacher and mentor figure for scriptural studies and faith guidance
• Develop, maintain, and grow partnerships with families, communities, and organizations
• Participate in the leadership, development, and implementation of ministries
Leadership Development
• Lead, develop, and empower volunteer leaders, religious leaders, students, and the community to serve and grow in knowledge of the scriptures
• Support vision and direction of ministries
• Attend all church wide/campus/community specific events
