Trade Operations Specialist - Contract Opportunity - On-site in Baltimore, MD

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Trade Operations Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will execute trade settlements, support master servicing, and manage exceptions in collaboration with the Trading Desk and Operational personnel.

You will also be responsible for reviewing inbound client documents for accuracy, and making outbound contacts (written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholders.

This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced financial services environment, where your attention to detail and communication skills are essential for smooth operations.

1. Execute trade settlements and manage exception processes supporting the Trading Desk and Operational teams.
2. Review inbound client documents for accuracy and completeness.
3. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, verbally and in writing, to address and resolve issues.
4. Define, prioritize, and track project activities to ensure timely completion.
5. Maintain proficiency in MS Word and Excel for daily operations and reporting.

Skills/Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to define project activities, prioritize tasks, and follow up on progress.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Basic understanding of the financial services field and related operations.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
