Full-Time TSO System Engineer (Linux) DevOps

Project: Our clients are the largest mobile network operators in Poland and Europe. We deliver solutions and services transforming their networks and providing innovative services to millions of subscribers.

Position: Participating in the creation of ICT solutions and applications at each stage of the project (design, implementation, testing, and maintenance).

Cooperating: Closely with development and testing teams in projects (configuration and supervision of CI/CD processes, release management and task automation).

Analyzing: Problems and introducing corrections in subordinate systems.

Taking care of: Operations continuity of maintained platforms (reviews, proposing security updates, monitoring improvements).

Managing: Requests (L3 support).

Expectations:

• Ability to administer a Linux environment (CentOS/RedHat/Debian)
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack
• Knowledge of SQL and experience in SQL database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in Apache httpd, Tomcat (or JBoss/WildFly) administration
• Knowledge of Java programming, with a focus on analyzing and understanding existing code for maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to work with legacy codebases and collaborate with developers to ensure system stability and reliability
• Willingness to take on duty 24/7 after the appropriate implementation period
• Knowledge of both Polish and English language at a level allowing easy communication and documentation creation

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of tools for task automation and IaC (Ansible, Chef, Helm, Terraform)
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., bash, Perl, Python)
• Knowledge of VoIP protocols and GSM/3G/LTE/IMS network architecture
