Job Details
Veeam is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join the Corporate Technology Department. This role focuses on translating business requirements, research findings, and ideas into interaction experiences for web-based products and user services. The designer will address UI design challenges and continually refine solutions using qualitative and quantitative insights.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the entire design process, collaborating with stakeholders, project managers, and technology teams.
- Discover user roles and scenarios; create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
- Follow and enhance the company's design system to ensure consistency.
- Improve designs based on data insights from user research, analytics, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Participate in design sprints and ensure high-quality UI, leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Champion user-centered design principles and ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) are met.
- Provide basic front-end development support for technical implementation.
Requirements:
- A degree in Digital Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in UI/UX design.
- Expertise in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Balsamiq, and Adobe XD.
- A strong understanding of user-centered design, usability principles, and accessibility guidelines.
- Proficiency in web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
- Ability to analyze logs and web statistics to make informative design decisions.
- Knowledge of WCAG.
- Familiarity with UX research tools and Agile/Lean UX methodologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, using data to guide design.
- Skills in HTML, CSS.
- An eye for good composition and visual harmony, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
