Full-Time Vice President, Operations

Position Purpose: The Vice President, Operations provides strategic leadership and vision to the multi-state region, prioritizing critical issues and empowering the team to achieve ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and nurture a safety culture driven by individual behavior and accountability.
• Ensure compliant execution of contracts and adherence to safety procedures.
• Oversee project delivery performance, ensuring high-quality standards and consistent results.
• Lead and nurture assigned projects with a positive culture.
• Collaborate with Project Leaders to create new business opportunities.
• Lead OPEX initiatives to focus on efficiencies and cost savings.

Primary Duties:

• Create a clear vision and effectively communicate goals.
• Inspire and motivate teams to reach professional excellence.
• Foster collaboration and champion diversity and inclusion.
• Promote a culture of safety and care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspire, guide, and make difficult decisions.
• Build and lead a high-performing regional team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Ensure plant and personnel safety and cost control.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Education/Experience/Background:

• A degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• 10 years of leadership experience, 8 of which leading and supervising senior staff.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Proven leadership ability in union and non-union environments.
• Excellence in team building, change management, and mentoring.
• Demonstrated strategic, conceptual, and analytical abilities.
• Developed financial management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
