Full-Time Video Editor

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our client's team!

The ideal candidate is a master of sound design, has an eye for impactful visuals, and stays ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of short-form digital and social media storytelling. ​​​​​​​If you have a passion for crafting dynamic stories through footage editing and motion graphics, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect role for you. 

Responsibilities:

• Execute projects based on individual requirements and storyboards.
• Animate and/or edit provided photography and video footage to create engaging content.
• Manage multiple projects independently, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Make timely decisions to keep projects on track.
• Assist in the creation of presentation boards and other materials for senior management and client presentations.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry, style, and graphic trends, including advancements in technology.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Education: Bachelors
• 3-5 years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Deep knowledge of industry trends, styles, and graphic design, including up-to-date systems technology.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and take direction effectively.
• Quick learner with a desire to continuously improve and adapt.
• Ability to establish rapport with peers and collaborate effectively.
• Flexible and open to change, with an action-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills, capable of providing clear direction to internal and external resources.
• Effective presentation skills with the ability to convey ideas to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MAC computer programs, including:
  • Photoshop
  • After Effects
  • Final Cut Pro
  • Premiere Pro
  • Media Composer
