JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled Junior Editor to join our team on a contract basis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative and dynamic environment, editing user-generated content into high-impact video ads. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with a strong background in digital media
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit user-generated content to produce engaging video ads optimized for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Collaborate closely with the Video Producer to ensure creative alignment and adherence to strategic objectives.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and upholds our standard of quality.
- Juggle multiple editing projects under tight deadlines.
- Offer creative insights during the content creation process and recommend enhancements to boost engagement.
- Maintain awareness of the latest trends in video editing and platform-specific content strategies.
Candidate Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as a video editor within an in-house creative team or a creative agency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Experience with mobile editing apps preferred, including Capcut and other popular editing apps.
- Familiarity with the distinctive content requirements of platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Exceptional communication skills, with proficiency in collaborating in a remote environment.
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- A creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
Work Hours:
- Part-time, contractor position.
- Availability required from Monday to Friday.
