Virtual Mental Health Group Facilitator

The Group Facilitator provides therapeutic treatment, with an emphasis on evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment methods. You will facilitate scheduled groups and document sessions in our EMR.

Maintain all applicable licenses and certifications, and meet all facility and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Clinical Director/Program Director and staff to develop therapy, evaluation, and treatment programs.
• Deliver appropriate topics to scheduled groups.
• Complete group notes immediately after each group.
• Document all services in client medical records.
• Know company policies, DMHAS and Joint Commission standards/regulations, and adhere to all regulations.
• Maintain accurate, timely client charting.
• Participate in staff meetings, provide training on therapeutic services and mental health topics.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director, including individual client support.

Virtual Details:

• 100% remote work for Discovery Mood & Anxiety IOP program.
• 4 IOP tracks: Adult AM (10-1pm), Adult Mid (2-5pm), Adult PM (5-8pm), and Adolescent (11-17 years old) after-school (3-7pm).
• Clients throughout California via secure Zoom.
• Lead 3-4 psychoeducational groups daily using curriculum library.
• Patient engagement is essential, adapting groups to client needs.
• Safe space for patients managing mental health symptoms.
• Training in CBT, DBT, or ACT via pathways.
• Compensation increase after 90 days for completing additional training.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field.
• Experience in behavioral healthcare.
• Stable Wi-Fi and confidential work environment.
