Leads the strategic and creative vision for multiple brands and therapeutic areas.
Demands inspirational creative leadership and strategic partnership with clients, account teams, and senior leaders.
Guides and mentors a multidisciplinary creative team, ensuring work is conceptual, innovative, brand-aligned, and meets strategic objectives.
Spears creative strategy across all channels, staying at the forefront of industry trends, aligning creative outputs with client business goals.
Maximizes team performance, improves profitability, leads new business efforts.
- Oversees development and execution for client brands and indications, ensuring conceptual strength, strategic alignment, and meeting client goals.
- Collaborates with account and planning teams to define and refine creative briefs, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Leads by example, champions creative thinking, pushing work to new levels of excellence.
- Serves as lead creative contact for clients, cultivating strong relationships, delivering strategic creative solutions.
- Fosters strong partnerships with internal (account, planning, production, subject matter experts) and external (clients, vendors, partner agencies) teams.
- Ensures all creative work adheres to medical, regulatory, and legal (MRL) guidelines, pushing for innovation and boundary-pushing ideas.
- Presents and defends creative concepts to clients, positioning within broader strategic and storytelling framework.
- Champions accessibility and ensures all creative work follows best practices in inclusivity and accessibility.
- Mentors and develops creative talent, recognizing strengths, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Leads new business pitches, setting clear directives and inspiring teams to deliver creative excellence.
- Seeks opportunities for organic growth and identifies new business potential within existing client relationships.
Requirements:
- Proven leader with extensive experience in creative direction, ideally with both art and copy background or comprehensive understanding of both disciplines.
- Conceptual and strategic thinker integrating creative solutions with business objectives.
- Creative visionary with a distinguished portfolio demonstrating breakthrough creative concepts and execution.
- Collaborative individual thriving in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- 10+ years experience in creative roles, 3+ years in senior leadership.
- Significant experience leading creative initiatives for healthcare and pharmaceutical brands, with successful product launches and cross-channel campaigns.
- Strong storytelling abilities, inspiring internal teams and clients.
- Expertise in accessibility and inclusivity best practices, ensuring creative work reaches diverse audiences.
Compensation:
$159,000 to $236,000 (US).
