Contra is seeking a skilled Web Developer for a 4-month project focused on building and maintaining high-performance websites.
What you'll do:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain responsive websites and web apps.
- Collaborate with designers to bring UI/UX concepts to life.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
- Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
- Troubleshoot and debug performance issues.
- Stay current with modern web development practices and tools.
What we're looking for:
- Solid experience as a Web Developer with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, and a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, PHP, etc.).
- Familiarity with databases (SQL, Firebase, MongoDB, etc.).
- Strong understanding of SEO and website performance optimization.
- Comfortable working independently and delivering on deadlines.
Nice to have:
- Experience with headless CMSs, Webflow, or WordPress.
- Familiarity with API integrations and third-party services.
- Experience deploying to platforms like AWS, Vercel, or Netlify.
