The Account Manager develops and maintains strong customer relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective sales & execution of service activities like outages, shutdowns, spare parts, and overhauls.
This role drives sales of Category 4, 5, 6, and 8 service works, expanding business opportunities.
Acting as the single point of contact, the Account Manager coordinates with WtX Regional Management, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality service.
The role focuses on increasing share-of-wallet, driving long-term relationships, and ensuring commercial success.
Sales & Customer Relationship Management:
- Drive sales of Category 4, 5, 6, and 8 service works.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Act as the primary customer point of contact.
- Conduct customer visits and sales presentations.
- Lead contract negotiations.
- Stay informed about market trends.
Service Execution & Project Coordination:
- Oversee service project planning and execution.
- Ensure projects are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate personnel, tools, and schedules.
- Work with various departments for timely delivery.
- Monitor financial performance and track costs.
- Identify and mitigate risks.
Compliance & Collaboration:
- Adhere to QHSE standards and internal policies.
- Document lessons learned.
- Analyze project performance metrics.
- Collaborate with various teams to optimize service delivery.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Customer satisfaction and retention.
- On-time and within budget project execution.
- Increase in service contracts and revenue.
- Efficiency in cost tracking and invoicing.
- Achievement of Order Intake (OI), Contribution Margin (CM), and Net Sales targets.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Electro-Mechanical OR Business Degree with strong technical affinity.
- 5+ years in service-related positions, preferably in Power Plants or Waste-to-Energy.
- Proven coordination experience in project and service execution.
- Strong knowledge of WtX technology and local regulations.
- Expertise in contract management and financial planning.
- Hands-on experience in budgeting and cost estimation.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Experience with working in a matrix organization.
- Proficient in ERP (preferably IFS), Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
- Fluent in the local language and English.
