Full-Time 3rd Party Food Safety Auditor

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform third-party audits following Eurofins Certification procedures and applicable standards (e.g., BRCGS, FSSC22000, SQF).
• Collect and analyze information to recommend certification.
• Understand and apply federal/state food safety laws and scheme requirements (BRC, FSSC 22000, SQF, GRMA, FAMI-QS).
• Manage all audit components (planning, travel, execution, client follow-up).
• Conduct witness, surveillance, and supervision reviews as needed.
• Maintain auditor accreditation and achieve additional scheme accreditations.
• Maintain professional development and training for audit proficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality.
• Adhere to Eurofins and client procedures.
• Understand and follow Eurofins quality manual, policies, and SOPs.
• Ensure timely, consistent, and accurate audits and reports, meeting or exceeding KPI’s.
• Attend annual informational and calibration meetings.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in food science or bioscience.
• Minimum 5 years food manufacturing experience.
• HACCP training certificate.
• Lead Auditor training certificate.
• Knowledge of GFSIBRC, FSSC 22000, SQF, GRMA, FAMI-QS.
• Strong time management, self-motivation, and communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the US.

Travel:

• Up to 80% travel, including international trips (8+ hours flight time).
• Weekend travel may be necessary.
