Job Details
Education and Experience:
• MSc in Financial Technology (preferred), but strong candidates without a master's degree will also be considered.
• Have a strong academic background with experience in teaching at the university level or relevant professional experience in Finance.
• Where applicable, demonstrate a record of scholarly research, publications, or contributions to the business community.
Subject Matter Expertise:
• Possess in-depth knowledge in one or more areas of Finance (specifically FinTech)
• Familiarity with current industry trends, practices, and technological advancements in the field of Finance and Banking
Teaching Skills:
• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, and engage students in learning.
• Ability to develop and deliver curriculum using various teaching methodologies, including case studies, group projects, experiential learning, and innovative instructional technologies.
Research and Publications:
• Show evidence of ongoing or potential research activities, including publications in reputable journals, conference presentations, or research projects.
• Willingness to actively contribute to the faculty's research agenda and engage in interdisciplinary collaborations.
Interpersonal and Teamwork Skills:
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Ability to contribute to the positive and inclusive culture of the Faculty of Business and the wider university community.
Language Proficiency:
• Proficiency in English is required for both teaching and communication purposes.
