As an Accelerator Architect at Venafi, you’ll be part of an extremely motivated, dedicated, and experienced team that protects many of the largest organizations in the world.
Venafi seeks a highly motivated, proactive, and customer-focused Accelerator Architect to translate and deliver upon customers’ business and technical Machine Identity Management needs.
Responsibilities include: specialized solution workshops, evaluating existing business processes, proposing process improvements, and tracking customer Machine Identity Management program success.
Ensuring success for multiple customer accounts and serving as both a customer advocate and Venafi subject matter expert.
Maintaining close working relationships with all groups across Venafi, partner organizations, and customer organizations is crucial.
A successful Accelerator Architect has wide-ranging experience with various IT technologies, including automated processes, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies. Demonstrates how Machine Identity Management increases security posture and streamlines processes.
Documents patterns and blueprints for compelling solutions in Machine Identity Management.
Guides and advises in the emerging space of Machine Identity Management.
Requires approximately 20% travel to customer sites and Venafi headquarters.
Requirements:
Minimum 17+ years of consulting experience within enterprise IT environments
Proven success through technical mentorship and establishing effective working relationships with customers
Proven business acumen, identifying critical business problems and articulating solutions to customers
Experience automating Machine Identity Management using Venafi Trust Protection Platforms (Datacenter, TLSPC & TLSPK) and integrating with critical customer technologies
Strong scripting and API expertise (PowerShell, Go, Python, JavaScript)
Experience with modern containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Direct experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Proficiency with orchestration and CI/CD technologies (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins)
Experience with TLS/SSL encryption technologies (F5, NetScaler, IIS, Apache, etc.) is desirable
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Proven experience working effectively with sales, client IT, and client end-user groups
Desired Skills:
Technical understanding of major cloud providers' use of machine identities, native capabilities, multi-cloud environment architecture, and hybrid environments
Previous experience in a consultative, sales engineer, or enterprise architect role
Software development training and experience
VSA certification
Industry-recognized security certifications (CISSP)
Compensation: $99,000 - $145,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus.
The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
