This is an opportunity to join the growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health as a field-based Account Executive.
Account Executive will work with sales leadership to set go-to-market strategy and launch new technology for cancer screening.
The Account Executive will promote cancer screening for colorectal cancer (CRC) liquid biopsy to healthcare providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of SHIELD.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and execute national sales strategy.
- Drive strategic expansion and collaboration with primary care providers.
- Develop and implement a business plan in line with brand strategy.
- Identify and partner with national, regional, and local labs.
- Initiate and secure lab service agreements, in-service and train specimen collection.
- Identify opportunities, share best practices, and communicate strategies.
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
- Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
- Manage implementation of promotional activities.
- Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments.
- Collaborate and coordinate with sales team.
- Uphold company mission and values.
- Support and comply with Quality Management System policies.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of direct experience in customer-facing sales in healthcare.
- Consistent closing abilities and proven past performance.
- Comfortable communicating, presenting, selling to healthcare providers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage in consultative selling.
- Maintain market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information.
- Develop and utilize cross-functional relationships.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize.
- Proficient at in-person, phone, and virtual selling.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva).
- Demonstrate Guardant Health values.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to meet specific clinic/office entry requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with diagnostic products and phlebotomy.
- Product launch planning and execution experience.
- Familiarity with primary care practice landscape.
- High-touch customer service skills.
Salary Range
USD 116,000 to 133,000 (full-time).
