Job Details

This is an opportunity to join the growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health as a field-based Account Executive.
Account Executive will work with sales leadership to set go-to-market strategy and launch new technology for cancer screening.

The Account Executive will promote cancer screening for colorectal cancer (CRC) liquid biopsy to healthcare providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of SHIELD.
  2. Meet or exceed sales goals and execute national sales strategy.
  3. Drive strategic expansion and collaboration with primary care providers.
  4. Develop and implement a business plan in line with brand strategy.
  5. Identify and partner with national, regional, and local labs.
  6. Initiate and secure lab service agreements, in-service and train specimen collection.
  7. Identify opportunities, share best practices, and communicate strategies.
  8. Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
  9. Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
  10. Manage implementation of promotional activities.
  11. Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments.
  12. Collaborate and coordinate with sales team.
  13. Uphold company mission and values.
  14. Support and comply with Quality Management System policies.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of direct experience in customer-facing sales in healthcare.
  • Consistent closing abilities and proven past performance.
  • Comfortable communicating, presenting, selling to healthcare providers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage in consultative selling.
  • Maintain market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Develop and utilize cross-functional relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize.
  • Proficient at in-person, phone, and virtual selling.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva).
  • Demonstrate Guardant Health values.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet specific clinic/office entry requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with diagnostic products and phlebotomy.
  • Product launch planning and execution experience.
  • Familiarity with primary care practice landscape.
  • High-touch customer service skills.

Salary Range

USD 116,000 to 133,000 (full-time).
