We’re recruiting for an Account Relationship Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract within our Mortgage Services division. This is a remote/homebased position.
This role will involve managing, developing and driving a portfolio of Broker and third party relationships to achieve growth and adoption objectives across LGMS.
As part of the LGMS distribution team, you will be identifying, engaging and unlocking target distribution opportunities whilst continuing to manage, drive and retain existing relationships.
The role holder will also engage with key internal stakeholders, developing an effective internal network for commercial opportunities and proposition ideas.
What you'll be doing
- Achieving agreed sales and adoption targets by identifying and developing accounts across a range of LGMS products and propositions.
- Developing and implementing a sales plan for specified account portfolios in conjunction with the Head of Business Development, leading to the achievement of LGMS commercial and adoption objectives.
- Managing a portfolio of existing broker firms and 3rd parties, ensuring all commercially viable business is retained and developed.
- Developing, influencing and onboarding self-generated prospects from initial engagement through to launch, ensuring LGMS objectives are attained.
- Providing input into proposition development to tailor propositions to win and retain partners.
- Working with target accounts to understand their business challenges, creating innovative solutions and ensuring a relevant proposition is consistently offered.
- Supporting the Head of Strategic Accounts with the governance of new and existing clients, participating in internal governance committees.
- Representing LGMS at external events to provide education on the wider mortgage market and LGMS strategy, products, and propositions.
- Seeking customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in product design, literature, sales processes.
Who we’re looking for
- High level Customer and Account Management experience.
- Experience developing proposition initiatives.
- Knowledge of business strategy, customer communication, and business planning.
- Knowledge of the UK mortgage lending market.
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Engagement, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Ideally CeMAP qualified (or equivalent).
