Accounting Manager
Summary: Oversees daily accounting department operations, ensuring financial record accuracy, regulatory compliance, and supporting financial planning/audits. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and team leadership are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations (general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations).
- Prepare/review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accounting practices comply with laws/standards/company policies.
- Manage month-end/year-end close processes.
- Coordinate with auditors (internal/external), providing reports and documentation.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends/variances/opportunities.
- Supervise/mentor/develop accounting staff.
- Assist with budget/forecast/financial plan preparation.
- Identify/implement process improvements for efficiency/accuracy.
- Maintain/update accounting systems.
