Full-Time Accounting Manager

BizOps & Finance team is looking for a high-performing Accounting Manager to manage accounting, external audit, tax, and payments. Bookkeeping and tax accounting are outsourced, so managing external firms will be key. There's potential for in-house functions in the future.

This role will involve:

• Managing the month-end close process with external accountants
• Project-managing and liaising with external auditors
• Supporting tax submissions and analysis
• Building internal reporting
• Designing and implementing financial systems/processes
• Owning payments processes
• Managing insurance needs

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong quantitative skills for error-free analysis and report creation
• Solid organizational and project management skills
• CPA with strong GAAP knowledge
• 3-5 years experience in a startup, high-growth company, or public accounting firm
• Strong quantitative undergraduate degree
• Low-ego attitude

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with tax compliance and external auditors
• Familiarity with QBO
• SQL/scripting language knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, VBA)
