Job Role: Accounts Receivable / Accounts Assistant
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 7.30 AM to 4 PM Australia Time
Salary Budget: 1,600 - 1,800 AUD per month
Setup: Permanent remote job and Independent Contractor Agreement

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and adaptable Accounts Receivable / Accounts Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer and the finance department. This role is crucial in maintaining smooth operations within the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, receipts, and financial transactions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing customer accounts, reconciling statements, and tracking affiliate payments. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and strong record keeping are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Assistant Support
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Daily review of receivables
- Collections follow-up
- Support CFO with financial tasks
- Affiliate transaction tracking & recording
- Invoice creation
- Month-End & Year-End support
- Balance Sheet reconciliation
- Administrative support to finance team
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable / Accounts Assistant
- Understanding of accounting and bookkeeping skills - ideally with a degree or diploma in accounting
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, Xero and Slack is mandatory.
- Experience with Stripe and exposure to affiliate platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with different departments and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and take corrective actions independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure all financial data is correctly entered, accounts are reconciled, and payments are processed accurately.
