Contractor Accounts Receivable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment application, and reconciliation.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection and resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate A/R reports, ensuring alignment with company policies and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client billing inquiries and disputes effectively.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Support process improvements and system optimizations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Required: Proficiency with Sage Intacct or Bill.com (experience with both is a strong plus).
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on A/R experience in a professional setting, preferably in a fast-paced or creative industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks.
