About the Role
The Actuarial Analyst will lead the analysis, research, and enhancement of actuarial processes impacting financial outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares routine to complex internal management analyses and actuarial/financial reports and/or external filings including pricing, reserving, benefit evaluation, trend setting, product development, experience analyses and membership estimates.
- Responds to questions regarding internal reports and/or external filings.
- Makes efficient use of automation tools to improve report timeliness, accuracy, and content.
- Builds working knowledge of relevant industry data, internal data, company operations, systems, and actuarial methodologies.
- Performs various actuarial and financial reporting tasks that are of a mathematical and quantitative nature.
- Documents and verifies analysis, recommendations, and action items.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience as an actuarial analyst or similar professional experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Actuary certification is a plus.
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-stage startup a plus.

- Base pay varies by location, job-related skills, and experience. Current expected salary range: $75,000 - $100,000.
