We are seeking an Admissions Representative to join our team.
This role involves recruiting qualified students for academic programs. Responsibilities include providing information and guidance on the admissions process, resolving student inquiries, and upholding enrollment standards. This includes strict adherence to company policies, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards.
Building Relationships:
- Handle inquiries regarding programs, entrance requirements, curricula, and academic standards.
- Schedule interviews and encourage qualified prospects to participate.
- Return web inquiries and phone calls promptly.
- Make outbound calls to potential students.
- Participate in phone-a-thons and dialing campaigns.
- Initiate unsolicited leads and generate new business.
- Follow up on all inquiries, interviews, and dropped/cancelled students.
Interviews:
- Schedule and conduct student interviews, adhering to company policies regarding financial aid.
- Use approved company materials during interviews.
- Explain program offerings and match them to student needs.
- Discuss and advise on suitable programs.
- Ensure admissions management is informed about student motivations and concerns.
Mentoring and Guidance:
- Provide information, advice, and assistance on available programs and eligibility requirements.
- Act as a liaison between students and campus, providing necessary enrollment forms and assistance.
- Review applications and related documentation for compliance.
- Partner with Finance to ensure high-level customer service during the transition.
- Follow up to ensure complete financial aid packaging.
- Mentor students to identify their skills and interests.
- Resolve easily-resolved inquiries, concerns, or issues.
Administrative:
- Accurately track inquiries and admissions activity.
- Complete daily activity reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of pre-start paperwork.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date required reports.
- Attend and successfully complete all required training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Attend meetings as directed.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of For-Profit Admissions Experience.
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill company key behaviors.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work assigned/flexible hours.
