Full-Time Advanced Analytics & Data modeling lead

The Operations & Analytics team powers Veriff’s business engine. We need new talent to help fill gaps, bringing new ways of thinking. Blending operational excellence with technical insight to ensure Veriff runs efficiently and intelligently.

Lead the Advanced Analytics team. Elevate the quality and scalability of analytics across Veriff. Lead a team of analytics engineers, data scientists, and data professionals. Build the foundation of our analytics ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a growing team of analytics engineers and data scientists.
• Set high standards for data modeling, analytics engineering, and documentation.
• Design and own core, reusable data models for scalable reporting.
• Define best practices for dbt, modular SQL, and data governance.
• Build the foundation for production-grade ML models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into robust data solutions.
• Drive an impact-focused culture.
• Mentor team members and build a culture of excellence.
• Work closely with Data Engineering.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience in analytics, data science, data modeling, or related.
• Deep proficiency in dbt and modern analytics engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data environments.
• Advanced SQL skills and working knowledge of Python or R.
• Proven ability to lead and translate data into business impact.
• Data visualization expertise (ideally Tableau).
• Experience mentoring or leading a team.
