Enterprise Modeling and Analytics is seeking a business analyst to join its Multi Family Credit Works application team.
You will be a valued contributor to the application development team, developing critical analytics software for multi-family business users.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, document, and articulate multi-family or related mortgage business requirements for complex mathematical, business, and financial modeling logic for software coding.
- Design and execute test cases for modeling and analytical software applications.
- Develop detailed application specifications, including architecture diagrams, process flows, and other necessary information.
- Collaborate with business unit managers to determine system requirements.
- Extract data requirements through various methods (discussions, analysis, code).
- Document specification development, coding, testing, and user acceptance for future reference and internal control.
- Promote productive relationships between stakeholders and technology partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience supporting application development lifecycles.
- Ability to document highly complex data processing.
- Strong data analysis skills (consolidating datasets, extracting data, data modeling).
- Technical skills in Oracle, stored procedures, advanced querying.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in relevant field
- Secondary mortgage, finance, or economics knowledge or experience.
- Multi-family data and business experience is preferred.
- Advanced Oracle/SQL skills.
- Python scripting for data analysis.
- Code analysis in Java and Python.
- Input to development specialists for specifications and functionalities.
