Affirm is looking for an analytically inclined data professional to join the Strategic Finance team. This role involves forecasting and providing real-time analytics solutions to executives and business leaders. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and interpersonal skills.

What you’ll do
- Become a financial expert on data related to Affirm’s new and existing markets and products.
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics for cross-departmental consumption.
- Support the Finance team in developing automated financial forecasts.
- Aid in the development of automated user, merchant, and financial forecasts.
- Evaluate solutions to optimize growth in users, volume, revenue, and unit economics.
What we look for:
- Strong sense of ownership and intellectual curiosity.
- High attention to detail.
- 2+ years experience in analytically-driven roles (analytics, data science, consulting, finance, etc.).
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Experience using DBT or similar data transformation tool strongly preferred.
- Experience using Sigma or similar BI tool strongly preferred.
