Position Purpose: The Analyst Performance, part of the Municipal Water Performance Team, drives efficiency and growth initiatives at contract operations sites, primarily for municipal clients and corporate functions. Working under the guidance of a Manager, Senior Manager, or Director, this role tackles operational and strategic issues across municipal water utility operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts efficient analyses to solve complex problems, utilizing innovative frameworks.
- Identifies areas for improvement using benchmarks, interviews, and site visits.
- Analyzes datasets to pinpoint and quantify performance improvements.
- Establishes performance measures (financial and operational), monitors metrics, and implements improvements.
- Structures client documents (for C-level or frontline staff) with a clear narrative.
- Synthesizes information from various sources for actionable insights and recommendations.
- Delivers oral presentations, adapting communication strategies to match audience needs.
Work Environment: Primarily office-based with up to 30% travel required.
Preferred Locations: Tampa, FL (with hybrid work option).
Education/Experience/Background: Bachelor's degree (or higher) required, with engineering, business, environmental science, or data science preferred. 1+ year of professional experience after graduation. Utility, engineering, or consulting experience is desirable. Strong academic record.
