Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
Switching Technologies: Understanding and troubleshooting major switching technologies (STP, RSTP, RPVSTP+, VPC, VDC).
Routing Protocols: Good understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
Multicasting: Multicasting design, security, and advanced troubleshooting.
Network Security: Knowledge of network security concepts.
Cisco Tools: Understanding of Cisco tools (error decoder, configuration & verification, output interpreter).
Network Design: Assist customers with network design.
Product/Architecture Understanding: Juniper EX4200, EX3200, Ayava 5500, and Cisco 4500, 6500, 6800 Series switches.
Configuration Changes: Schedule and perform configuration changes on network devices as per business requirements.
WNS Applications: Maintain and support WNS business applications, ensuring reliability and availability.
Incident Management: Update tickets, manage, prioritize, and escalate incidents efficiently.
Downtime Mitigation: Minimize downtime by proactively identifying risks and driving solutions.
Issue Resolution: Respond to severity incidents and problems; escalate to seniors as needed.
Task Completion: Ensure tasks are completed to high standards and agreed timelines.
Network Management Tools: Knowledge and use of network management tools and integrations.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, senior personnel, and team members.
Escalation Handling: Handle Severity 1/Severity 2 escalations.
Advanced Troubleshooting: Collaborate with TAC engineers for advanced troubleshooting.
