Full-Time Associate Staff Engineer, QA Manual (Salesforce Testing)

• Experience: 7+ years in Salesforce testing
• QA Testing: Strong understanding of QA manual testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• API Testing: Hands-on experience in API testing (REST) using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
• UI Testing: Deep understanding of UI testing principles and cross-browser/platform testing.
• Test Management: Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Salesforce: Knowledge of Salesforce architecture and ecosystem is highly desirable.
• Database Testing: Hands-on experience in database testing, Defect management, Mobile testing, test case automation.
• SDLC/STLC: Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Defect Tracking: Proficiency in defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
• Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Databases: Basic knowledge of databases; ability to write and execute SQL queries for test validations.
• Tools: Exposure to Confluence, Git, Jenkins.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Documenting requirements validated by SMEs.
• Interacting with clients to define testing scope and acceptance criteria.
• Working with product owner to refine acceptance criteria.
• Preparing test plans and strategies.
• Estimating test effort and preparing schedules.

• Designing and developing automated testing frameworks.
• Preparing test reports and communicating quality metrics.
• Participating in retrospective meetings.
