Full-Time Audience Director

About the Role: Equalpride, the parent company of leading LGBTQ+ brands, seeks a results-driven Audience Director to lead audience growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute audience growth strategies across search, social media, push alerts, email newsletters, syndication partnerships, and news aggregators.
• Actively manage and optimize social media accounts, creating and scheduling posts, engaging with audiences, and analyzing performance.
• Work with the video team to develop and implement social video strategies, optimizing content for engagement and platform best practices.
• Oversee and support social media managers, fostering growth and innovation.
• Partner with SVP of Editorial and COO to analyze audience data and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with social media managers and site directors to grow and diversify the audience.
• Expand monetizable opportunities on social platforms, emails, and direct-to-audience platforms.
• Prioritize growth on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook for monetization.
• Continuously analyze and refine tactics to maximize audience reach.

About You:

• Digital marketing or social media expert, preferably with media/publishing experience.
• Experienced in audience development with a proven track record of growing traffic and engagement.
• Hands-on experience managing social media accounts and collaborating on video content.
• Knowledgeable about social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
• Collaborative leader with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Data-savvy, able to translate analytics into actionable strategies.
• Comfortable managing multiple accounts and brands.
• Meta, YouTube certifications are encouraged.
