Job Details
Core Responsibility: Oversee and manage all audit process elements, including full-time and contract auditors, from scheduling to certification manager package preparation.
Service Delivery: Provide food assurance audit and certification services (food safety and integrity, supplier auditing, and related assurance) in the US.
Audit Execution: Primary accountability for all audit services from scheduling to execution, reporting, corrective action review, and certification package preparation.
SOP Development & Implementation: Support development, documentation, implementation, and operation of operating procedures, training, and policies.
Team Management: Manage a team of auditors (full-time and contract) for effective audit and certification services.
Auditor Competency: Maintain auditor competency requirements and work with technical/scheme managers to establish and maintain competency standards, training, and sign-offs.
Calibration Meetings: Coordinate and lead regular auditor calibration meetings.
Employee Management: Manage human resources, conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports, and coordinate/review annual reviews for other personnel.
Client Management: Understand and communicate client requirements and critical success factors, optimize client satisfaction.
Accreditation Maintenance: Support maintenance of accreditations for US-based certification programs.
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry developments through events, networking, and associations.

- Conduct all activities safely and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Administration and Management: Business and management principles in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership, production, and coordination.
- Customer Service: Principles for providing customer service, needs assessment, quality standards, and satisfaction evaluation.
- Technical: Food safety certification scheme requirements, food product management system accreditation, quality management systems, general audit processes, procedures, and best practices.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food, Quality, or Business.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in managing food auditing activities.
- Proven ability to lead businesses relating to Food Assurance services (local & global).
- Collaborative work environment, securing support resources.
- Strong communication skills.
- Out-of-the-box thinking, self-motivation, result-driven.
- US work authorization (no sponsorship needed).
- Travel required (mostly US, sometimes Europe/Asia).
Position Details:
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, first shift.
- Additional hours as needed.
