Profile description: Automation QA EngineerDeveloper profile: We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design and maintain test automation frameworks for our API and microservices-based applications. This role is ideal for an experienced Software Engineer in Test who thrives in high-volume transaction environments and is passionate about continuous improvement in test automation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain robust test automation suites for APIs and applications.
- Develop and execute component tests for APIs and microservices.
- Define, track, and report on automation test metrics and KPIs.
- Continuously optimize test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Technical requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on API and microservices testing.
- Strong automation skills with expertise in Jest TS, Postman, JMeter, and Cucumber/Gherkin.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Apigee, and cloud-based testing.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and automation frameworks.
- Ability to analyze test automation effectiveness and refine testing strategies accordingly.
- Hands-on experience in working with Cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work in a distributed team.
- Ability to work with software vendors to evaluate new tools and technologies.
