Full-Time AWS Architect - Consulting

As a Senior AWS Solution Architect & Senior AWS Cloud Consultant, you will:

• Research and analyze tools/frameworks to implement cloud-native solutions for clients.
• Assist the T-Systems Public Cloud Product Management Team in defining solutions based on customer and market feedback.
• Support the customer lifecycle from pre-sales to implementation, including follow-up activities.
• Conduct technical workshops and lead Pilot/Proof of Concept projects.
• Advise clients on architecture, governance, and cloud-native best practices.
• Perform Well-Architected Reviews, advising clients on AWS best practices.
• Review customer environments, plan and implement migrations to AWS using appropriate strategies (Relocate, Rehosting, Refactoring etc.).
• Develop automated cloud-native solutions using IaC approaches (Lambda, Step Functions, Terraform, CloudFormation, SAM, CDK).
• Expand the solution portfolio and create new features, templates, and documentation.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Manage technical sub-projects, acting as a sparring partner between business and IT.
• Independently steer error analysis and problem-solving with DevOps teams.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in 2+ of the following areas: software development, automation, containers, distributed cloud application design/implementation, agile methodologies.
• 2+ years experience with AWS cloud platform (and ideally Azure/GCP knowledge).
• Experience with DevOps methodologies, programming and automation (Shell Scripting, Docker, Terraform, Ansible).
• Linux system administration, Bash scripting.
• Experience with complex, large-scale environments and designing resilient, secure, and performant cloud infrastructure.
• Experience developing enterprise-scale distributed applications using modern software development practices and technologies (highly desired).
• Client-facing experience.
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).
• Flexibility and willingness to travel.
