ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Cloud Engineer, you'll manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for a prestigious telecommunications client. You'll use various cloud services and technologies for efficient, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and manage AWS cloud services (networking, storage). Use IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models with Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform & Terragrunt for automation.
- Manage cloud networks with networking principles and protocols.
- Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, relevant standards).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab).
- Automate cloud operations with scripting languages (Python, Lambda Functions).
- Implement and manage containerization solutions with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Use automation and configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
- Monitor and log cloud infrastructure performance (AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
REQUIREMENTS
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and administration.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Knowledge of networking principles, cloud security best practices, IAM, and compliance standards.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Lambda).
- Familiarity with automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
