Full-Time BI/Data Engineering Solution Engineer

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Development and Operations, you will:

• Expertise in developing end-to-end data solutions with tools such as MWAA, Tableau and Alteryx.
• Write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable python code with minimal defects, and automate manual processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to discovery and use data being introduced into the environment.
• Troubleshoot data, perform detail data analyses, and develop complex data pipeline solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis, propose solutions, and take ownership in next steps for their resolutions.
• Create report specifications and process documentations as part of the required data deliverables.
• Design data pipelines that use data from different platforms, ensure data to be ingested by appropriate visualization tool.
• Be a liaison with business and technical teams to achieve project goals, delivering cross functional reporting solutions.
• Provide on-call production support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 year experience in BI development and support
• 5 years of experience in Tableau desktop dashboard development and support
• 2 years of experience with Python
• 3 years of experience with AWS data ecosystem (Redshift, S3, etc.)
• 3 years of experience in Agile environment
• 5 years of experience in complex SQL development
