Full-Time Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Financial Investigations Consultant

J.S. Held’s Global Investigations Practice provides companies, legal counsel, financial institutions, and other organizations with the information required to make well-informed business decisions. Our team is retained to advise in multi-jurisdictional business transactions and investments, regulatory inquiries, compliance issues, and legal proceedings.

With experts located across the globe, we support clients in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.

The candidate will join an experienced and closely-knit team of investigative professionals, with deep experience in handling complex research projects.

We are seeking a Consultant to join our Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Financial Investigations practice. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the JS Held team. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of investigations, but also be a flexible and strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.

Specifically, we are looking to add an individual who has a developed understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency. This role will not only be investigatory in nature but will encompass many of the financial crime related elements that the cryptocurrency industry is experiencing.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience
• General computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Audit and/or litigation support experience preferred

Job Qualifications:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to travel as needed

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
