CertiK leads blockchain security, securing smart contracts and blockchains with Formal Verification technology. Founded by Computer Science professors of Yale University and Columbia University, CertiK has audited and secured over $500B in assets.

The primary responsibility of this role is for CertiK's security-related services, intersecting cybersecurity and blockchain. Offerings include security consulting, reviews, auditing of smart contracts and blockchains, verification, and penetration testing.

As a Security Engineer, you will contribute to security offerings, working with the security team to deliver top products and services, engage with clients, expand products, and follow emerging security problems and trends.

• Perform end-to-end security services, including consulting, reviewing, auditing, verifying, and testing.
• Deliver detailed security assessments for blockchain systems like smart contracts, web3 protocols, L1/L2/L3 infrastructures, and dApps.
• Conduct manual code reviews to identify vulnerabilities, logical flaws, economic attacks.
• Refine threat models and attack surfaces.
• Design and execute security tests and gas-related analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Security, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
• Efficiently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Specialist-level knowledge of cybersecurity and security auditing.
• Familiarity with attack vectors and vulnerabilities.
• Effective communication skills.

[Preferred] Prior hands-on security auditing experience.

Compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 (US-based role)
