Hims & Hers Health, Inc. is seeking a Blog Writer, Hair Health to temporarily support our editorial content team.

As an independent contractor, you'll write engaging, medically accurate, and SEO-friendly blog posts focused on hair care, hair loss, and men's grooming.

This role is for a temporary contractor who will provide support from 5/5/2025 to 9/29/2025. Pay is on invoice (1099).

Responsibilities include:

• Writing compelling hair health content for the Hims blog.
• Conducting thorough research and creating articles with reference lists and SEO reports (experience with Clearscope is a plus).
• Applying the Hims & Hers brand voice and tone.
• Collaborating with editorial and SEO teams.
• Distilling complex medical information into actionable takeaways.
• Revising work based on feedback.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of editorial experience, preferably in brand work or publications with strong SEO strategies.
• Experience creating evidence-based content in health and wellness.
• Proven track record writing informative, engaging hair content (lifestyle, how-to, medical).
• Strong writing style and storytelling abilities.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strategic thinking and data/insight utilization.

Nice to Have:

• Experience writing medical content.
• Passion for hair.
• CMS platform (Contentful, WordPress) and project management tool experience (Monday, Airtable, Asana).

Compensation: $38-$50/hour (on invoice).

Note: A test assignment is required.
