Full-Time Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team. You will perform business, data, requirements, and process analysis within the Financial Systems team, implementing process improvements. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Business Intelligence, you will be part of the Finance department.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Performing data analysis for financial and technical data.
• Analyzing and maintaining processes.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Evaluating practices for process improvement.
• Conducting ad hoc analysis for audits, data migrations, and projects.
• Analyzing financial and technical data, presenting results clearly.
• Conducting data and process analysis, developing requirements for reports, and maintaining documentation for financial systems related processes.
• Partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into technical requirements.
• Troubleshooting and resolving process and data related issues.
• Evaluating data from system migrations for quality, highlighting anomalies.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for reporting, requirements, and processes.
• Supporting financial systems projects, including data warehouse migrations, QA testing, and data integrity assurance initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in business analysis.
• 3+ years of experience in Finance or telecommunications.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in process improvement and documentation.
• Experience with major data migrations involving business and IT stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with initiative.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points for:

• Experience working on Power BI reporting and SQL data extracts.
