We are seeking a Business/System Analyst for a remote position at Sweed, a cannabis retail solution startup.
About Sweed:
We offer a comprehensive cannabis retail solution with robust POS, analytics, marketing tools, and inventory management.
Project Details:
5 years on the market, continuously growing and adding new features while navigating cannabis market regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Define business needs and understand desired outcomes of developments.
- Analyze current business state and align short-term issues with long-term objectives.
- Propose solutions considering effort/effect, transparently sharing pros and cons.
- Communicate with English-speaking partners.
- Evaluate solutions, assess potential value, and guide business counterparts through decision-making.
- Document solution requirements in Confluence.
- Explain business needs, processes, and limitations to development team.
- Design feature adoption with support team assistance.
- Address comments and suggestions from operational results.
Skills Required:
- 2+ years of Business/System Analysis experience.
- Understanding of Business Analysis frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience in system design and understanding of architectural limitations.
- Experience with use cases, UI/UX changes, logical data modeling, databases, and web services.
- Release and sprint planning experience.
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of API design and integrations (preferred).
- Upper-Intermediate/Higher English proficiency (required).

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary in USD (B2B contract with US company).
3-month probation period.
Flexible working hours (09:00-17:00 GMT).
Fully remote.
