In our continuing mission to enable digital science across Crop Protection Research and Development (CP R&D), we are looking for a business analyst to deliver a significant, high-value transformation across the global Product Biology function. This role supports key understandings of how new inventions and technologies deliver innovative products to customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Deep understanding of product biology processes and outcomes to support creation of new active ingredients.
- Development of a transparent stakeholder engagement strategy to support a change roadmap and incremental delivery.
- Identification of opportunities across the global Product Biology function, from field trial inception to product creation decisions.
- Support for a multi-million dollar investment in DevOps teams and creating field experiments, data capture, FAIR data products, and data exploitation with AI.
- Translating organizational needs into initiative and epic-level artefacts for delivery teams.
- Maintaining delivery heartbeat and creating a 3-5 year IT strategy aligned with business goals.
- Ensuring creation of FAIR data products and managing IT investment portfolio.
- Management of multiple epic-level backlogs in various capabilities and IT products.
- Contributing to business analyst community best practices, peer review, and mentoring.
- Promoting risk-taking culture and developing a digital future landscape.
- Identifying breakthrough initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of business analysis experience in diverse domains, from incremental delivery to strategic influencing.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile (ideally DevOps) environments.
- Life sciences R&D experience is desirable.
- Awareness of emerging technologies.
- Strong consensus-building and communication skills.
- Proactive approach, anticipating issues and managing complexity.
- Strong customer focus, communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills.
- University Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Fluency in English.
