This is a permanent, full-time homebased position, working a 37 hour week, flexibly between 07:00 – 19:00.
Purpose: Identify and grow PSS services to achieve business plan with allocated markets/clients, covering both UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Account Development planning. Analyze clients’ organization and activities to assess potential requirements for Eurofins PSS.
- Develop knowledge of assigned clients’ insourcing strategy and develop medium & long-term strategies to maximize opportunities for analytical and technical services.
- Collaborate with counterparts from other sites and business units.
- Understand potential for PSS services and establish knowledge of senior clients & decision-makers to target initial communication.
- Support provision of on-time, high-quality proposals presenting optimal solutions for clients, ensuring on or above-plan profitability.
- Commercial: Manage contractual processes (Confidentiality agreements, Preferred provider/Master Services agreements, pricing agreements).
- Reporting: Provide account, activity, and market status reports (local or global).
- Ensure adherence to co-employment relationships.
- Collate and maintain tracker of client contacts, successful contact establishment, and client-facing opportunities.
Requirements:
- Degree Level or Equivalent in relevant subject or demonstrable business experience
- Finance/business training desirable.
- Knowledge of GMP/GLP analytical services (pharmaceutical chemistry, routine QC testing) advantageous.
- Knowledge of product commercialization, manufacturing/supply chain, testing, and service requirements for clients and markets.
- Knowledge of regulatory authorities, guidelines, and quality systems relating to services.
- Teamwork, management organization
- Ability to influence across Eurofins sites and companies
- Proven networking skills (internal & external)
- Influence and demonstrate professional business acumen within Eurofins & client organizations.
- Contribute to strategic direction of the business and work with PSS counterparts globally
- Good communication skills (internal & external)
- Ability to understand client requirements and devise/articulate appropriate solutions
