As a Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst, you'll be instrumental in the design, deployment, and management of variable incentive plans, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accurate payouts. You'll also support pricing strategy and initiatives.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Sales Finance, you will work with Sales, Sales Operations, and CX leadership to ensure pricing and incentive compensation positions the team to meet growth plans.
What You'll Do
- Support the compensation planning design cycle from design-to-deployment for all teams on variable incentive plans across Olo's GTM team.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of all commission plans across the GTM team.
- Manage quarterly variable pay calculations across the GTM organization.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate pay distribution.
- Collaborate to identify improvements to Sales and CX Compensation plans, policies, and processes, benchmarking and suggesting modifications as needed.
- Work with the Total Rewards team to facilitate plan submissions.
- Train GTM team members on compensation structure, mechanics, policies, and resources.
- Develop techniques for compiling, preparing, analyzing, and presenting data related to variable compensation.
- Develop a strong understanding of Olo's pricing policies and structures.
- Review and analyze pricing exceptions and bespoke deals, ensuring alignment with policies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Finance teams to understand pricing strategies and impact on sales.
- Develop and maintain pricing guidelines and processes.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant SOX controls related to sales compensation and pricing processes.
- Perform regular reviews and audits of sales contracts, commission calculations, and related documentation.
What We'll Expect From You
- 3+ years of experience in sales compensation, FP&A, or sales operations at a high-growth tech company.
- Expert proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including advanced modeling skills.
- Experience with commission or planning software (e.g., Everstage, Pigment).
- Contract knowledge and experience with Lexion is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and ability to create reports.
- Experience working with dynamic sales teams.
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
- Legally able to work in the US.
