About the Position The Channel Sales Manager (CSM) responsibilities include promoting and selling network security products within a geographic territory, supporting assigned partners, quoting, training, lead generation, follow-up, event support, forecasting, and tracking for assigned partners.
Position Responsibilities
- Focus on partner relationship management to achieve results in revenue.
- Work directly with partners to develop sales opportunities and expand joint business.
- Maintain regular contact with partners to ensure satisfaction.
- Develop annual business plans including growth targets, marketing events, and enablement plans.
- Create, present, and deliver accurate business reviews, strategic plans, and forecasts.
- Provide partner-focused enablement to sales teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and marketing teams.
- Create and perform partner and end-user sales presentations.
- Be knowledgeable of all WatchGuard products, services, and internal sales tools, emphasizing MDR solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in channel management in mixed territories.
- Experience in cyber security/MDR space (preferred).
- Track record of success in partner management and leading sales situations.
- History of consistent plan development and quota achievement.
- Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage and work remotely.
- Ability to travel 50%+ and to global locations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM.
- 7+ years’ experience in channel sales in related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, sales, or marketing.
